Description: This late middle aged man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time and is in decent physical shape. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stableman. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: An older man who wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is cut close to his head. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Gimble hails from a village terrorized by giants. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: She very much looks the part of a Scribe. Her hair is golden and curly. She has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Malquis does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
