History: Roger lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jacoba fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
