History: She is a Lamia in disguise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has worked as a Miner like her father before her.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Arava was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Arava and her spouse have recently divorced.
