History: Mantus was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He now owns his own business.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
