History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Caelynn is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Caelynn was born with her mother's beautiful face. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Caelynn never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He now owns his own business.
