Description: She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She carries with her a set of sickles, each one with a ruby on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. With bright auburn hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the south to a Guard, Vani learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She became a Guard soon after.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gimble does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: This woman wears a green vest and prefers blue and yellow shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her red crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Vezera's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and wants to raise his children well
