History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
