Shax's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shax and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bucklal studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Willow was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Bellfounder mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
