History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Eva isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with her Crown-heir mother left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
