Through the years after Mary was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When Bethrynna reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Bethrynna was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
