History: Gifted from a young age, Shamash studied abroad. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Lamlis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. She wears an entirely red suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes, marred by teas. Her brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Merla reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
