History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She always tries to repair and not replace. History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
