Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Bookbinder profession.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Oriel was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Oriel decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
