History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Brewer. He has worked as a Brewer like his father before him.

History: Quillathe was born with her father's beautiful face. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Apothecary for the past few years.
