History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Ortegar was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Miller. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Zanna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age her mother died while driving off some drow. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in ceremonial dagger use. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Korfel does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Korfel hails from a village terrorized by goblins. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
