Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. A true patriot, Naeris would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Naeris lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This western man wears a simple red robe with blue stripes complete with hood. His clothes are grease stained in places. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, red shirt, and black tie, and he perpetually has his longsword ready. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Born to a Bellfounder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Gennal's homeland. Gennal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
