Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Naeris was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Naeris's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

History: Born in the south to a Knight, Jade learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Knight and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
