History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Ilanis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ilanis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
