Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears dark leathers with embroidery and is in decent physical shape. Her black hair is thinning but still full. She has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He prefers to wear flannel. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Mindartis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mindartis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: This tall, slender man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he seems to be bored by most things
