Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Joan embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bûth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.
