History: Paymon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and revenge
