History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Nurkara was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nurkara's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
