Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Norman learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Sage job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Sarai hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She has all her life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
