History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hatae was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
