Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shamash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A true patriot, Zook would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
