History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: She was born into a rich family. A gifted student she started as a Courier, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body and is in decent physical shape. Her auburn hair is wavy and long. Her ears are large.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Maynild will drive conversation. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
