Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. Her skin is flawless and her green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Her crest, while still mostly rusty, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Description: This man wears a brown wide-brimmed hat and brown clothes. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on his right hand. His fur is gray and very short. His yellow eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Emerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes him a fraud
