Description: A middle-aged man, he wears long strands of emerald and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his son
