History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Portia grew up listening to her father's many stories. Portia abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Kilvar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Carlin's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She now mingles about in high society.
