Personality: He is a Actor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Rolf hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He prefers to wear white pants and tee shirts. He wears his blonde hair down. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Chay lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Pearl wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Pearl hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Pearl and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want her driven away
