Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She wears a tan vest and prefers grey and pastel shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roywyn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roywyn. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His ears are large.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Interpreter soon after.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with yellow lining and desert motifs. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is cut close to his head. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Arannis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. Her black hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her gold eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She takes great joy in being the best Detective in town.

History: Born to a Mortician, her father struggled to pay the bills. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Detective. She's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Mortician again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
