History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Theren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.
