History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She tends to her Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. The war was a terrible time for her, and Maegan does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Maegan abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Maegan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
