History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
