History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Cloud was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She tends to her Stableman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Paelias was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Paelias was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a Masseuse soon after.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his son
