History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Theirastra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Animal Trainer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Animal Trainer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Rolen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rolen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
