He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shadow's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
