History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Ashgarn was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Herbalist. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Whurdred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Whurdred. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
