He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content
