Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a great chef.

History: Gunter hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Althaea grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and sabotage a competitor
