History: Gorbundus hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. After a long history of fighting, Dara and her spouse have recently divorced.
