Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shadow does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. Through the years after Shadow was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shadow's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a violet tunic with green highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around his shoes. His hair is long and brown with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Anthony will drive conversation. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and further expansion of business

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her long rusty crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her half smiles and red eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Daar was born with her mother's beautiful face. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a servant again
