Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When Fargrim reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her ears are large.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Mardred isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Mardred hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered illithids who tried to eat her hand. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shipwright.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
