History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
