History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Ahvain was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ahvain's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he would like to get married and retire

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
