History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Knight. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Sorath hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting illithids, the young Sorath began to lead the lost caravan. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and balancing her hectic life and new knight responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
