History: Elysande was born with her father's beautiful face. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
