Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Merla lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roge grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

History: He was born in the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
