History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Tailor. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She found a children's book about a Elf Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and to unite with her sister
