History: Darrow hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Darrow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Semyaza hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Semyaza was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
